Purpose
Some got into baking, and others into cycling. For Chef Shauna, the Live Well Collection was her Covid project. Together, we created a mindful guide to living well at a time when most of us needed a boost of inspiration and hope for better days.
This project allowed our team to reflect on our health habits and share those that have worked best for us. The book includes recipes and guides for longevity inspired by the Blue Zones. It also provides a holistic approach to cooking, from learning how to source nutritious ingredients to setting up a small garden to grow your own, information about dietary substitutions to adjust to food sensitivities and our favorite practices for table setting and entertaining.
Process
We identified the book's objectives and pre-selected Shauna’s favorite recipes from the hundreds she had developed throughout her career.
We then established the creative vision and created detailed production schedules, style guides, lighting setups, prop guidelines, and writing formats. The creation and release involved re-designing Shauna’s website, several behind-the-scenes videos and blog posts, and comprehensive social media engagements.

Founded by Shauna Versloot, The Live Well Co. offers a blend of cooking classes and inspiration, fitness motivation, and community gatherings to motivate people to live healthy lifestyles.
One of Shauna’s dreams was to publish her cookbook, extending her knowledge of nutrition and well-being to a broader audience.
