Preserving legacies. Building community.

Inspired by the offline world.

Hamaka is a creative space carved outside of our full-time jobs to preserve our cultural heritage at the intersection of craftsmanship and nature.

We are proud of the people around us. Through storytelling, we celebrate local game-changers making a positive impact in their communities. We hope these stories will live for generations–collecting memories and preserving the knowledge that exists outside of our screens.

Reach out if you have a cool story to tell or want to help us keep this project alive!

Honouring those who work with their hands, source materials in the wild, and find fulfillment in their craft.

Her work and lifestyle reflect a deep curiosity for people's journeys, meaningful conversations, regenerative living, and time well spent in nature. When not working, you can find Alie at the pottery studio or running and cycling around the province on her Kelp Forest bike.
