Purpose
For Hannah Howey and many individuals of her generation, memories from reading the Harry Potter book series bring wonder and nostalgia.
Hannah has vivid memories of her fourth-grade teacher reading the first book to her class, and while it is still a popular story read by thousands, millennials had the privilege of experiencing the anticipation, speculation, and suspense leading to each new release.
Over the twenty-five years after the release of The Phylosopher's Stone, Hannah and her fellow Harry followers had to sort through shifting emotions about the characters and, more recently, the conflict of supporting the story when its creator started making questionable statements and alienating groups. Hannah created this book to revive positive memories and inspire others to bring some magic into their kitchens without compromising our ideas of “adulting.”
