Just because they feel good!

Our fascination for ceramics sparked from our food photography work. We started sourcing our plates from local artisans to infuse our images with stories, and after visiting several pottery studios and writing a ceramics publication, we felt an urge to experience the wonders of clay ourselves.

We’re starting out with a simple design inspired by the Nonneutral cortado cups. There is not an artist statement or hidden concept behind them; we don’t have a voice and there is also not a business plan to follow. We make these cups mainly because we enjoy the process and they feel good to hold as we drink our morning coffee–and we wanted to share the feeling with you.

All pieces are one-of-a-kind. We recognize that consistency takes practice, and practice requires time and funding. By purchasing this cups you are supporting our learning curve and helping us balance the mental strains of a fast-pace creative career.
