Creativity Lab Report #9: Live well and read zines!
Hello lab friends! This email will be shorter than usual but packed with excitement! It is not the New Year yet, but we are already moving towards new beginnings!
New beginnings
We are starting a new and improved newsletter list! We rebranded our business and changed the scope of our services last year! We understand how our career shift could have been confusing for some, but we'll work towards making it more clear from now on! If you're still wondering, we are now dedicated solely to print projects!
We know it's a "hassle," but we'd be thrilled if you decide to join our new members list to continue exchanging messages! We are grateful for those of you who hit the reply button, send us feedback or share interesting articles with us! We hope we can keep it going!
We will delete the old list at the end of this year and will revise our “Lab Reports” format for 2022! A lot will change in the next couple of months, and we couldn't be more excited about what's to come! Thanks for being part of our journey!
Live Well Collection pre-sales are open!
If you've been part of our lab for a while, you probably know that we spent most of this year crafting a cookbook with chef Shauna Versloot from the Live Well Co. Finally, the book is in the hands of our trusted printer, and the wait is finally over. Pre-sales are now officially open!
All our lab members, old and new, get a 10% discount and free delivery in the London area using the code: LABMEMBER21 during checkout.
The books are expected to arrive the first week of December! We are also looking for retail partners, so if you or someone you know may be interested in carrying our cookbook for the holidays, please reply to this email! We'll be happy to hear from you!
If you enjoyed our behind-the-scenes blogs and videos, here is the recap from week #8 of our photoshoots! The very last of our food photoshoots! If you'd like to see them all from the beginning, click here!
Welcome to the world Paper Mache!
Our dear friend and incredibly talented chef Tim Drew recently launched Paper Mache Volume One, a 24-page vegan food zine that features recipes, essays about vegetable literacy, unique artwork and very personal writings about his approach to food!
It is raw and honest and takes notes from the punk and hardcore zines that Tim collected growing up. We believe there is something special about holding a print publication and flipping its pages that will never be replaced by electronic devices. So we'll always be supporters of those who take the more challenging routes and capture their thoughts in paper for posterity!
You can order the zine on Etsy, at several local shops or directly through Tim’s social accounts!
